Cranberries Anti Age ....Happy New Year...... Video

Hello my beautiful anti aging peeps...This video was recorded a month ago....I am still in Florida...I had thought maybe this was more information than you needed but realized that many women suffer from Urinary Infections....and as we women age it is something that just happens...adding cranberries is not the cure but it really does make a difference...AND they taste so good in this smoothie!! Of course if you want you can throw all ingredients into your blender with 3/4 cup of water....and blend away...I prefer to juice and blend...
You will need:
1 apple
1/2 a banana
2 healthy handfuls of cranberries
1/4 of a peeled pineapple ( no need to core if you have a good juicer)
4 or 5 ice cubes
Juice the apple, cranberries and pineapple....add to blender with banana and ice....Enjoy!

Hi Tammy, please forgive if you have already answered this question BUT why do you juice before you go to the Vitamix? I just throw everything into the VM...add some ice... and then blend the begeebas out of that baby. Is it a texture thing with you or just a health thing? I know you like the fibre so just wondering if there is a benefit of juicing first that I? have not heard before now. Cheers and thanks. Susan

Nope...wash ..if it fits in the shoot you don't even have to cut it up...You never want to? peel your fruits and veggies...most of the nutrients are in the skin...only peel your citrus fruits leaving most of the pith on...Nutrients!!

Just some info for those who are wanting to purchase a HD Blender but dont want to go all out. I decided to take the middle of the road approach & ordered the Blend Tec from Target for about 400.00 & some but it's all the blender we've needed thus far on our journey to smoothie town with Tammy (we = hubby & I ) In fact, he's all green? these days because of Tammy-he loves the spinach smoothie, keeps us in frozen bananas =) uses agave nectar now not sugar & he is all over the avocado & pineapple!

You can do it this way too...but drinking fresh juice within 15 minutes? is absorbed immediately ...I also do it in the vitamix ...but I always have one fresh juice smoothie a day...
